Three words that describe Dr. Jim the most are caring, compassionate and dedicated. You will find him at the clinic working late at night keeping watch over his patients and communicating with their owners about their pet’s status and lab-work results or just returning calls. He has a great love for internal medicine and spends many hours consulting with specialists in the veterinary field, in order to customize the optimal health care plan for each patient. Dr. Jim gives quality time to each appointment. As a client, you never feel that he does not have time for you. The youngest of three brothers, Dr. Jim was born and raised in Southern California. His hobbies include woodworking and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle whenever he gets a chance. He is also very active in the local Knights of Columbus chapter with St. Rose Church and served two years as Grand Knight
Dr. Keith Harp
Keith Harp was born and raised in Hanford, CA. He attended Modesto Junior College where he worked as a swine herdsman, then finished his Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science at Fresno State University. Keith received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from St. George’s University on the island of Grenada in the West Indies (Caribbean) in 2018.
Since 2018, Keith has worked with dogs, cats, horses, pigs, cattle, sheep, and goats. He has also worked in emergency medicine and critical care. He has found a passion as a general practitioner and enjoys building trust and relationships with the pets he see and the clients he meets.
Keith enjoys spending time working with his family and loved ones at their family farm in Hanford where they also raise cattle and pigs. He has been very active in 4-H and FFA since he was a child and as an adult has taken several leadership roles. He enjoys travelling and is constantly learning; his areas of interest are internal medicine and integrated medicine which incorporates both allopathic and alternative therapies.
